Blue

It could be so many things... what does it mean to you?
Here's our blue.

red blood
in my blue veins
is love
flushed into drains

no use
to this refuse
without  you.

  like an infant
I like
to curl up in the curves
of letters
in the crooks of words
forged in ink.
the blue is warm
and fluffy,
and softly sings me to sleep.

  1. Love it!! Too bad I've written mine long ago on this one :) but yes, veins and ink.... beautiful imagery. blue is so much around us that we ignore. Probably the most powerful color I know :D

  2. Agree with D'cruz on the imagery, especially yours Jason. And Nik, I want to hug you for that beautifully soft picture you've created with words.

  3. He closed his eyes
    And let the liquid quench...

    Welcoming the fire,
    Feeling it singe and scald

The burning came as a relief
As the poison claimed his heart
    Finally...

    Something she could never do...

  5. You both should try 'heartbreak'. It might not be one word, but I would love to hear what you two have to say about it.

  6. Have both of you tried 'hope'? If not, do try it please.

  7. Hello anonymous people :) It would be so much nicer if you could sign off your comments with your names, so that we know who we are talking to.

As for Heartbreak, some would say that's a recurring theme on the blog :)

And Anonymous No. 2, Leave us your name, and we'll make it a dedication :)

  9. Hey, I have read your shots and nothing is completely based on the pain, the fears and the haunting of heartbreak.
I am looking to read what two quite unique writers have to say about something as common and still unique to each person, as heartbreak. Besides, I really need someone to share what they feel when the One person in their lives isn't there with them anymore. Feel free to not accept the suggestion.

  10. We can try both; hope and heartbreak, on the condition that you tell us who you are. Keep your end of the bargain and we sure will have a shot up soon :)
    Cheers.
